On May 7, 2000, she was chosen to receive the "AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN BUSINESS AND COMMUNITY SPIRIT". This award is designed to honor those who are committed to the highest standard of business and community ideals.
Jocelyne is also responsible for introducing and pioneering a variety of instructional packages designed to assist the independent film producer's marketing and distribution efforts in the industry.
With interest expressed by United States Senators,Assemblymen, and the support of the Partnership for Economic Development, Jocelyne is working on her latest project: a state of the art motion picture complex to lure film and television production in Sullivan County, as a lower cost alternative to Manhattan - that would generate jobs, tax rateables and attention to region.
Wanting Sullivan County to be the focus of worldwide attention, Jocelyne is now exploring overseas investments and co-production deals that will involve developing long term relationships with other countries.
Since establishing residence in Sullivan County, Jocelyne has been involved in many charitable organizations, lately joining the board of the Grover Hermann Hospital in Callicoon, where she serves as the chairperson of the Fundraising and Publicity Committees as well as working with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, who grants wishes to children who have been diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses.
When not on location with her husband, movie star Richard Castellano ("Analyze This" with Robert DeNiro & Billy Crystal), or on the set of one of her own projects, Jocelyne can be found at home with her two faithful canine companions Blondie and Moses, on her three hundred acres of personal wilderness, set in the lush forests of Sullivan County. Attracted by her generous heart and fabulous leftovers, about twenty deer, thirteen woodchucks, five raccoons, a flock of Canadian geese, three bears and a rambunctious family of wild turkeys have set up permanent residence on the shores of her private fifty acre lake.
