Each day will include numerous film, documentary, and short film screenings and valuable seminars presented by leading film industry professionals. The nighttime will be filled with feature films, presentations, ceremonies honoring our featured filmmakers and wonderful receptions where guests can mingle, make new connections, and renew old ones. Madhur Jaffrey has enjoyed an extremely successful acting career but she is also one of the world's most accomplished cookbook writers. Her many cookbooks have been an enormous success among Indian food lovers all over the world. Madhur Jaffrey will be available during this day for signing her latest cookbook "An Invitation to Indian Cooking".
Madhur has starred in beautiful Merchant Ivory feature films such as Heat and Dust, Autobiography of a Princess, Guru, and Shakespearwallah, for which she received the Silver Bear Best Actress Award at the Berlin International Film Festival. She was also seen in Flawless starring Robert DeNiro. Madhur will be in attendance for the screening of Cotton Mary, another Merchant Ivory production in which she stars. |
